Armed with heavy guns, they can sail to no-wind zones and attack other warships in open ocean or rivers. Ironclads (French/American): Whether it be American or French, the Ironclad is a unique ship class that have a hard iron hual that is difficult to break. Just like the Steam-Frigate, they are armed with heavy artillery and have steam-powered propellers at the stern to sail in no-wind zones. Steam-Ship of the Line: A steam-powered Ships of the Line (1st Rates, 2nd Rates, 3rd Rates, and 4th Rates). Steam-Frigates (5th-6th Rates): A steam-powered Frigate, also known as a "Screw Frigate" armed with heavy artillery guns (cannons) that can cause heavy damage to enemy ships.

Perfect for privateers and pirates in the high seas. A three-mast ship armed with 22 guns and have galley oars to row in no-wind zones. Galleasses: A Galleasses is a hybrid of a Galleon and a Galley. They strike resemblance to a Spanish frigate or galleon. Galeoncete: A Galeoncete are smaller version of the Galleon since they can be used as Merchantmen, light treasure ships, or small warships. The Collier is a great vessel for smuggling and perfect for merchant captains or explorers. The vessel is sometimes called a "Bark" during merchant voyages which is similar to a Barque. They are lightly-armed vessels that is use during long voyages to trade ports or to explore undiscovered lands. This vessel is known to have powerful bow-chasers and small guns armed on her broadsides.Ĭollier (Whitby-Cat): A three-masted vessel that is use for exploration and merchant use. This vessel is was used by pirate-hunters, smugglers, and privateers to engage in Piracy and Privateering. Pirogue/Galeota (Half-Galley): A two-masted vessel that look similar to the Xebec but with galley oars. Pirates and Privateers love this ship class. Often called "Proto-Frigates" or "Small East Indiamen," they are used as warships or privateers in Europe and the Americas. A Pinnace (Ship) is a small three-masted ship armed with 18 guns. Pinnace (Ship): Not to be confuse with a Pinnace vessel that has one mast and one gun. I want to show some ship/vessel classes I think will be great to add into the game: This discussion is a continuation of a previous discussion I did for The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt.
